The ‘CAIS’ model, introduced by TRISHA’s research team in a SCOPUS-indexed publication in the International Journal of Evaluation and Research in Education (IJERE), represents a significant innovation in the educational framework for higher secondary and higher education students. As a modified and amplified version of the globally recognized 'CAS' approach by the prestigious Switzerland-based International Baccalaureate (IB), CAIS integrates Creativity, Physical Activity, Internship, and Service Learning to foster holistic development, addressing the intellectual, physical, and civic growth of students. This approach not only mitigates academic burnout but also enhances psychological well-being by offering enriching educational experiences beyond traditional classroom settings. TRISHA Trust is committed to rigorously implementing and studying CAIS among students in Kerala, with the aim of improving student outcomes and well-being, in alignment with the National Education Policy’s emphasis on creative, problem-solving, and research-oriented pedagogies.
